Among the four yarns of vortex yarn, spray-painted yarn, and compact spinning ring-spun yarn, vortex yarn has the best wear resistance, the largest average number of wear times, and the best unevenness of wear times, which is related to the wear resistance of yarns. Closely related to the structure of the yarn, both the vortex yarn and the air-jet yarn are composed of core fiber and outer fiber. The surface of the yarn core includes wrapping fibers, and the yarn is not easy to slip relative to each other, so the wear resistance is high. The wear resistance of vortex yarn is better than that of air-jet yarn because the outer fiber is wrapped in a regular spiral, and the outer fiber is so large that the inner untwisted fiber is almost completely covered.

These are available in the range Ne10s to Ne60s. The regular blends are 93/5/2 meta-aramid/para-aramid/antistat fibre, 95/5 meta-aramid/para-aramid and 75/23/2meta-aramid/para-aramid/antistat fibre. Suitable for Protective Clothing, Labor Protection, Industrial application and sewing threads.
